Italy's INPS rolls out 2026 Bonus Psicologo and RedEst pensioner filing campaign

The Italian Institute of Social Security (INPS) confirmed that the 2026 Bonus Psicologo will be funded with €8.5 million. Eligible applicants must have an ISEE not exceeding €50,000 and can receive up to €1,500 per beneficiary, with a maximum reimbursement of €50 per psychotherapy session. The application portal for 2026 has not yet opened; the current INPS site still shows the 2025 filing window.

On 24 June 2026 INPS launched the RedEst 2026 campaign, requiring pensioners living abroad who received income‑linked benefits to declare their 2025 earnings. The same announcement also reopened RedEst 2025 for those who missed the 2024 declaration deadline. Declarations are mandatory and must be submitted through consulates, patronage offices or INPS’s online services, with failure potentially leading to temporary suspension of benefits.
