Italy's PNrr Coordinator Palmisano Sets 159 Targets for August 31 Deadline

Antonio Palmisano, coordinator of the PNrr mission structure at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, spoke at the Europe Experience – David Sassoli event in Rome to launch the European Commission’s “Più forti insieme” campaign. He said the campaign aims to raise public awareness of the concrete impact of EU funds, highlighting the many positive stories emerging from the Recovery and Resilience Plan.

Palmasino warned that "we have 159 objectives to complete by 31 August, needed for the reporting and evaluation of the tenth tranche" and stressed the importance of maintaining focus to meet this deadline. He noted the challenge of selecting and showcasing the numerous results generated by the plan.

The coordinator underscored the collaboration between the European Commission and national administrations, describing the PNrr as a process that links workers on the ground with senior EU officials to verify implementation.
