Mugello and Italian circuits host a slate of karting, GT and F4 racing events

The fourth round of the ACI Karting Italian Championship took place at the Val Vibrata Kartodromo, with more than 290 drivers from 48 nations qualifying across categories such as KZ2, OK‑N, and MINI. Pole positions were claimed by Davide Forè in KZ2 and other frontrunners in the junior classes.

At the Mugello autodrome, the Italian GT Sprint Championship saw multiple series conclude. In GT3, Jens Klingmann and Ugo De Wilde won for BMW Italia‑Ceccato Racing, reinforcing Klingmann’s lead in the standings. The GT Cup podium featured Frassineti‑Pegoraro for Ferrari, while the GT4 Italy Series was topped by Maman‑Sandrucci. Separate GT3 Sprint Pro‑Am points went to Axcil Jefferies and Rawad Sarieddine in an Audi R8 LMS. The TCR Italy round was won by Mikhail Simonov (Cupra) after a rain‑affected race that required a safety‑car start.

The F4 Italian Championship final at Mugello saw 16‑year‑old Pedro Lima climb from the back of the grid to secure a place in the season‑ending race, navigating wet conditions and a safety‑car interruption. Meanwhile, the historic “La Grande Corsa” rally was announced for September 12‑13 in Castelnuovo Don Bosco, adding a Saturday prologue dedicated to Bruno Baron.

The Carrera event in Imola recorded a record 300 entries, highlighting growing enthusiasm for Italian motorsport across categories.
