Itatí Demarchi elected to Argentina's Council of the Magistracy

Itatí Demarchi Arballo has secured a seat on Argentina's National Council of the Magistracy for the 2026-2030 term. Representing the 'Abogacía Transformadora' group under the list ‘Abogacía Unida y Dignidad Profesional’, her campaign won in 40 professional colleges and voting locations across the country.

Demarchi Arballo, originally from Villa María, Córdoba, will be the sole representative from Córdoba among the four lawyers selected for the body. Her group garnered over 10,500 votes nationwide, narrowly missing first place by 644 votes and defeating the La Libertad Avanza list.

The electoral victory spanned multiple regions, including major wins in Santa Fe (Rosario and Santa Fe), the northern provinces (Salta, Catamarca, Santiago del Estero, La Rioja, Tucumán, and Jujuy), and the littoral region (Resistencia, Formosa, Misiones, and Entre Ríos). In Buenos Aires province, the list prevailed in both the metropolitan area and the interior, while also securing victories across Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego.
