ITAVU implements gender equality training in Tamaulipas

The Tamaulipas Institute of Housing and Urbanism (ITAVU) has implemented training for its staff focused on gender equality and human rights. Conducted in coordination with the Secretariat of Women, the program aims to promote the use of non-sexist language within public services.

ITAVU Director General Germán Fernández Guzmán inaugurated the training sessions, emphasizing that inclusive communication is essential for providing dignified treatment and avoiding discrimination. The initiative provides practical tools to incorporate inclusive expressions into daily tasks, increase the visibility of women, and recognize social diversity while avoiding stereotypes.
