Argentina expands AI training for public officials and educators
Various regional initiatives in Argentina and international academic exchanges are focusing on the integration of artificial intelligence across professional sectors. In Chaco, the provincial government, through ECOM Chaco and the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), has launched training programs for public officials to incorporate generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini into administrative and legal processes to improve efficiency and transparency.
In La Rioja, the Ministry of Education is organizing the Second National and Provincial Congress of Education and Artificial Intelligence. This event aims to train teachers in methodological strategies for using AI critically and ethically within the classroom.
Other professional sectors are also addressing the technology: the College of Civil Engineers in Córdoba is hosting international sessions on AI's impact on various professions, while Rosario is preparing to host the ORP 2026 International Congress to discuss how AI transforms occupational risk prevention. Additionally, academic collaboration is highlighted by the introduction of Italian legal AI literature at the National University of Mar del Plata, and specialized construction congresses in Spain are exploring AI and robotics in building processes.
