ITLA drives digital training initiatives in the Dominican Republic

The RD Inteligente program, a government-led initiative executed by the Instituto Tecnológico de las Américas (ITLA), has reached 54,000 registered participants in the Dominican Republic. The program aims to provide free artificial intelligence training to one million citizens, including students, teachers, public servants, and entrepreneurs. As of 2026, the initiative shows active participation across all 31 provinces and the National District.

In parallel, ITLA is strengthening digital talent development through specialized training routes designed to meet industrial technological needs. In collaboration with partners such as Cisco Networking Academy and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the institution is implementing curricula focused on data analytics, intelligent manufacturing, industrial automation, and cybersecurity. These training pathways allow participants to progress from introductory levels to advanced specializations, enabling companies to align employee skills with their specific digital transformation goals.
