ITM launches AWS security enhancement services

ITM Inc. has announced the launch of ‘AWS Security Countermeasure Support,’ a new service designed to help organizations strengthen the security of their Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments. The service addresses the complexities of the AWS ‘shared responsibility model,’ where users are responsible for managing account permissions, network protection, and data security.

The support covers four primary areas: security configuration assessments based on AWS best practices, vulnerability diagnostics using the ‘AWS Security Agent’ AI tool, the design and construction of security measures (such as centralized access management and threat detection), and ransomware protection through automated backup design using AWS Backup.

Additionally, technical discussions at the DevelopersIO 2026 TOKYO event highlighted the evolving role of AI in cloud defense, specifically focusing on how tools like Amazon GuardDuty Investigation and AWS Security Agent are being integrated to assist in incident investigation and vulnerability scanning.
