ITS Academy expands training programmes and hosts Family Day in Italy

A press conference in Avezzano introduced three new two‑year training pathways for the agro‑food sector, covering economics and marketing, production innovation, and precision agriculture with Industry 4.0 technologies. The courses, run by the ITS Academy Agroalimentare Teramo, involve the municipality, the Fondazione ITS Academy, local entrepreneurs and industry partners, and include 1,000 teaching hours and 800 hours of internships, culminating in a Level 5 EQF diploma.

In Palermo, the ITS Academy Nuove Tecnologie della Vita "Alessandro Volta" opened its campus to families for a one‑day Family Day. Hosted at the Culla Tecnologica Biomed & Biotech 4.0, students demonstrated laboratory work and programmes in biomedical informatics, digital dental technology and biotechnology quality. Participants highlighted links with companies, an Erasmus+ stint in Poland, and the broader community of tutors and professionals that support youth entry into the labour market.
