ITS Academy launches new campuses in Imperia and Catania, Italy

On 26 June 2026, the ITS Accademia Ligure Agroalimentare inaugurated a new headquarters in Imperia (Via Terre Bianche 2). The facility includes modern classrooms, ITS LABS 4.0 laboratories and spaces designed to link technical education with local agro‑food enterprises, aiming to provide practical, industry‑aligned training for young people.

Earlier this week, a second ITS Academy centre opened in Catania (Via della Filanda 15). Dedicated to Sustainable Mobility and Logistics, the site features advanced labs for passenger services, onboard hospitality, mechanics, hydraulics, navigation and a large naval‑navigation simulator. Regional officials, the city mayor and industry leaders attended the ceremony, underscoring the project’s role in addressing youth unemployment and supporting the PNRR‑funded training programme.
