ITS Academy Open Day in Ascoli Piceno Highlights High‑Specialisation Technical Courses
On Thursday 16 July, the ITS Academy “Technology & Made in Italy” in Ascoli Piceno opened its doors for an Open Day. The event introduced five two‑year, post‑diploma programmes that address strategic sectors for the region: Smart Technologies for Industry 4.0, Eco‑sustainable Polymer and Composite Materials, Technologies for Biotechnological and Pharmaceutical Production, Digital Factory (Business Intelligence and Cyber‑security), and Building Innovation Management (BIM, digital twin, ESG).
The courses are built around real‑world industry needs, with more than 60 % of teachers drawn from the private sector, and combine classroom study with laboratory work, project‑based learning and internships. Graduates receive a Diploma of Specialisation for Applied Technologies (EQF level V). According to the academy, over 90 % of its alumni secure relevant employment within a year of graduation. Prospective students and families were invited to meet tutors, tour the labs and obtain enrollment information.
