ITS Academy Pinta expands vocational training in Calabria

ITS Academy Fondazione Pinta is expanding its educational offerings in Calabria with new free specialized courses starting this October in Cutro, Cirò Marina, and Crotone. The programs aim to train highly skilled technical figures to meet the specific needs of local industries.

In Cutro, training will focus on the olive oil sector, regional gastronomic productions, and the valorization of local raw materials, such as ancient grains like Senatore Cappelli. Additionally, technical courses for the industrial and agri-food sectors will prepare students for roles as maintenance workers, electricians, industrial mechanics, and programmers.

In Cirò Marina, the academy is collaborating with local wineries and the Consorzio di Tutela e Valorizzazione dei Vini DOC Cirò to provide training tailored to the viticulture sector. The academy also intends to involve the University of Calabria and the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria to integrate research and experimentation into the wine production chain.
