Izmir: 80 workers hospitalized with suspected food poisoning

Approximately 80 workers have been hospitalized due to suspected food poisoning in the Kemalpaşa district of Izmir, Turkey. The victims, who work at various businesses served by a single catering company, reported symptoms including nausea and vomiting after consuming meals provided by the firm.

The affected workers are currently receiving treatment at hospitals in Izmir and Manisa, and their health conditions are reported to be stable. In response to the incident, teams from the District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry have collected samples from the food production facility for laboratory analysis. An official investigation into the matter has been launched.
