Ankara launches water‑saving cooling system as Turkish cities upgrade infrastructure
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality installed a 170‑metre mist‑cooling system on Kızılay Atatürk Boulevard that sprays fine water droplets, reducing ambient temperature while using significantly less water. Landscape architect Hande Akıncı highlighted the project’s water‑conservation design.
