İzmir mayor initiates asphalt resurfacing of Torbalı's Haluk Alpsü Boulevard

The İzmir Metropolitan Municipality began asphalt resurfacing on the 4‑kilometre Haluk Alpsü Boulevard in Torbalı, one of the city's busiest traffic arteries. The project involves applying a total of 10 tonnes of asphalt, with 2 tonnes already laid at the time of reporting.

Mayor Dr. Cemil Tugay inspected the works on site, accompanied by Torbalı Mayor Övünç Demir, and later visited local merchants at Barışyapı Market. The resurfacing is part of a broader city‑wide effort to upgrade road infrastructure, improve traffic safety and enhance travel comfort for residents.
