Izmir municipalities prepare schools and daycare centers for new term

Municipalities in the Izmir region are conducting maintenance and cleaning operations to prepare educational facilities for the upcoming academic term.

In Efeler, Mayor Anıl Yetişkin has overseen comprehensive renovations of daycare centers. The works included repairing classrooms, common areas, walls, and floors, as well as reorganizing gardens and playgrounds to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for children. These centers aim to support multifaceted development through programs in foreign languages, physical education, philosophy, science, and music.

In Narlıdere, Mayor Erman Uzun announced a large-scale cleaning initiative for schoolyards. Cleaning crews are using high-pressure water to wash school grounds and remove waste to ensure students and teachers have a healthy environment. Following previous support for painting and maintenance, these cleaning efforts are scheduled to be completed across all district state schools by September 14.
