Izmir to host 5th LOGISTECH international logistics fair in 2026

The 5th LOGISTECH International Logistics, Storage, and Technologies Fair is scheduled to take place in Izmir from October 7–9, 2026. Organized by IZFAS in cooperation with the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, the event aims to bring together professionals from various sectors, including land, sea, and air logistics, cold chain management, port operations, and digital supply chain technologies.

During an information meeting held at the Aegean Exporters' Associations, officials discussed the growing importance of logistics in the face of geopolitical risks, fluctuating freight costs, and new sustainability standards. Muhammet Öztürk, Coordinator President of the Aegean Exporters' Associations, emphasized that the green transformation and carbon regulations are making the route and cost of product delivery as critical as the production itself. He specifically noted the need for the modernization of Alsancak Port and the strengthening of connections at Aliağa and Çandarlı ports to maintain trade relations with the European Union.
