James Bond casting rumors name Jack Lowden and Callum Turner as top contenders

Speculation continues regarding the casting of the next James Bond to succeed Daniel Craig. While Amazon MGM Studios has not officially announced a successor, several actors have emerged as prominent candidates in industry rumors and betting markets.

Jack Lowden, known for ‘Slow Horses’ and ‘Dunkirk’, is reportedly being strongly considered for the role, according to comments made by Richard Osman on ‘The Rest is Entertainment’ podcast. However, betting market data from Kalshi suggests Callum Turner currently holds a slight lead with a 29% implied chance, followed closely by Lowden at 28% and Jacob Elordi at 13%.

Other names frequently linked to the role include Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Theo James, Harris Dickinson, and Henry Cavill. The upcoming production is expected to be directed by Denis Villeneuve with a screenplay by Steven Knight. Casting director Nina Gold is leading the search, which aims to find a fresh face for the iconic franchise.
