Jacksonville Jaguars defeat Philadelphia Eagles in London thriller

The Jacksonville Jaguars secured a dramatic 19-17 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. The game concluded with a 57-yard field goal by Cam Little as time expired.

In the final seconds, Philadelphia kicker Jake Elliott had converted a 48-yard field goal to give the Eagles a 17-16 lead with eight seconds remaining. However, following a kickoff decision by Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni to keep the ball in play rather than kicking for a touchback, Ameer Abdullah returned the ball 53 yards. This set up Little for the game-winning kick with only one second left on the clock.

Sirianni took full responsibility for the loss, stating, “I didn’t make the right decision, and I lost us that game.” The Eagles played without several key starters, including Saquon Barkley and DeVonta Smith. Jacksonville's Trevor Lawrence threw for 331 yards and two touchdowns, both to Parker Washington. The matchup was also marked by early chaos, including the ejection of Eagles linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr. and Jaguars defensive end Bryan Thomas Jr. following an altercation at kickoff.
