Jacopo Cappelletti wins 2026 Premio Pigro Ivan Graziani

Jacopo Cappelletti has won the 2026 Premio Pigro – Ivan Graziani, a music competition held in Teramo to honor the legacy of the late singer-songwriter. Cappelletti, born in 2007, secured first place, followed by Alice Burani in second and Elena Calaudi in third.

As part of the prize, Cappelletti will participate in a three-day musical songwriting residency and receive a year of managerial consultancy from Doc Music. The event featured performances by established artists including Irene Grandi and Giordana Angi, as well as tributes to Graziani performed by Filippo Graziani and Enrico Melozzi.

A significant highlight of the evening was the announcement of a formal twinning agreement between the cities of Teramo and Alghero. Named in honor of Ivan Graziani, who was born in Teramo to an Algherese mother, the pact aims to promote and preserve the artist's human and artistic memory through permanent synergy between the two communities.
