JAECOO Indonesia launches official J5 EV Genuine Body Kit

JAECOO Indonesia has officially launched the J5 EV Genuine Body Kit, an accessory package developed through its ‘J5 EV Co-Creation’ program. The development of the kit was based on feedback from 1,126 respondents, including current owners and prospective customers, who expressed a preference for a sporty and premium aesthetic.

The launch took place during a customer gathering in Jakarta titled ‘JAECOO Weekend Drive: J5 EV Co-Creation, JAECOO Genuine for You’. The event included the symbolic handover of the body kits to the first ten customers and featured approximately 100 modified J5 EV units. While the kit was previously offered as part of a vehicle bundle at GIIAS 2026, it is not yet available for separate purchase.

Alexander Haimir, Brand Manager of OMODA JAECOO Indonesia, stated that the company views personalization as a key part of the customer journey, aiming to provide space for owners to express their individual character.
