The launch occurred during a customer gathering in Jakarta titled ‘JAECOO Weekend Drive: J5 EV Co-Creation, JAECOO Genuine for You’. The event featured approximately 100 modified J5 EV units and a symbolic handover of the kits to select customers. While the kit was previously offered as part of a vehicle bundle at GIIAS 2026, it is not yet available for separate purchase.
