Jagex pledges visual improvements for RuneScape: Dragonwilds on Switch 2

Jagex has announced a commitment to improving the Nintendo Switch 2 version of RuneScape: Dragonwilds following player complaints regarding visual quality. The developers acknowledged that the current build does not meet their standards, noting that they previously prioritized framerate stability over resolution and visual fidelity.

To address issues such as blurriness caused by low output resolution, the team plans to release multiple updates aimed at enhancing the game's visuals on the platform.

Regarding multiplayer features, RuneScape: Dragonwilds supports crossplay across Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Players can join the same worlds using invite codes or the world browser. However, the game does not support cross-progression or cross-save functionality between different platforms.
