Rajinikanth's Jailer 2 surpasses ₹750 crore worldwide at the box office

The Rajinikanth-led action thriller Jailer 2, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, has achieved significant commercial success, crossing the ₹750 crore mark in worldwide gross collections within 14 days of its release.

In India, the film has reached a domestic net total of approximately ₹423 crore, with an India gross of roughly ₹495 crore. The film has demonstrated strong performance across multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, though the Tamil version remains the primary revenue driver. Notably, the film became the first Tamil film to sell over 1 crore tickets on BookMyShow.

Overseas, the film has recorded an impressive gross of approximately ₹260 crore, setting a new record as the highest-grossing Kollywood film internationally, surpassing the previous record held by Vijay’s Leo. While the film's daily collections have seen a decline in its second week, it remains a dominant force at the box office, nearing the ₹500 crore domestic gross milestone.
