Jailer 2: New anthem ‘One Name’ released for Rajinikanth sequel

Sun Pictures has released ‘One Name’, the third single from the upcoming film Jailer 2, starring Rajinikanth. Composed and partially performed by Anirudh Ravichander, the high-energy anthem serves as an introduction to Rajinikanth’s character, Muthuvel Pandian.

The track features lyrics by Super Subu and includes musical nods to the original 2023 Jailer film. The sequel, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, features a large ensemble cast including Ramya Krishnan, Shivarajkumar, and Yogi Babu, with reported additions such as Vidya Balan and S J Suryah.

The full 12-track album and the film’s trailer are expected to be released in early October, leading up to the movie’s worldwide theatrical release on October 15, 2026.
