Rajinikanth's Jailer 2 surpasses 600 crore worldwide

The Rajinikanth-led action sequel Jailer 2 has achieved significant box office milestones, crossing the 600 crore mark in worldwide gross collections within eight days of its October 15 release. The film has also surpassed 334 crore in net collections within India.

Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar with music by Anirudh Ravichander, the film has become one of the highest-grossing Tamil films of all time, overtaking the lifetime earnings of titles such as Ponniyin Selvan I and Coolie. Its commercial success is bolstered by strong performances in both domestic markets and international territories, including significant contributions from the Middle East and North America.

Industry figures and fellow actors, including Allu Arjun and Riteish Deshmukh, have praised the film's commercial appeal and Rajinikanth's star power. The film's momentum has been supported by a lack of major competing releases during the festive season.
