Jaime de los Santos criticizes Sánchez administration in Cuenca and Menorca

Jaime de los Santos, the People's Party (PP) Deputy Secretary for Education and Equality, has conducted visits to Cuenca and Menorca as part of a pre-campaign tour, criticizing the administration of Pedro Sánchez.

In Cuenca, De los Santos highlighted economic concerns, stating that real wages remain 2% below 2021 levels, grocery costs have risen by over 40%, and rents have increased by 45%. He also blamed the government's educational policies for poor PISA results and criticized the impact of tax increases on Spanish citizens. He positioned Alberto Núñez Feijóo as the alternative to restore prosperity.

During a visit to Menorca, De los Santos addressed the lack of progress regarding the construction of new courts in Ciutadella. He criticized the Ministry of Justice for failing to advance the project despite having land provided by the local council, describing the delay as a failure of the current government. He further alleged that the administration has undermined the judiciary through attacks on judges.
