Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung launches Grab‑partnered ojek shelter to ease traffic

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung inaugurated a new "ojek shelter" on 7 July 2026 at the Thamrin‑Bundaran HI intersection. The facility, created through a partnership among the DKI Jakarta provincial government, Wisma Kosgoro and Grab Indonesia, provides a designated waiting and drop‑off area for online motorbike‑taxi drivers.

The governor said the shelter aims to organise pick‑up points, improve traffic flow and strengthen transport connectivity in the capital. He urged the city's Transportation Agency to identify additional high‑traffic locations for similar shelters and expressed hopes the model can be replicated in other parts of Jakarta and beyond.
