Jakarta hosts child inclusion events by Accor and Plan Indonesia

Accor's corporate social responsibility programme ATFAC staged a Family Fun Walk on 25 July 2026 at the Grand Mercure Jakarta Kemayoran. Hundreds of children, parents, volunteers and staff walked 1.5 km, showcasing the programme that supports 75 children with scholarships, nutrition and life‑skill training across Jakarta and Bali.

Later, Plan Indonesia organized the Run for Equality 2026 at Senayan Park, attracting 1,670 participants. The event highlighted the need for inclusive public spaces for children with disabilities, noting that only 17.2 % of disabled people of working age accessed formal education in 2025. Organisers and disability commissioners called for safer, accessible sports and recreation areas.

Both events aimed to promote equal opportunities and raise awareness of child rights in Jakarta.
