Jakarta International Stadium KRL Station Opens with Rp1 Fare
The new Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) commuter‑rail station began limited operations on 22 June 2026. Trains on the Tanjung Priok–Jakarta Kota line now stop at JIS, running every 30 minutes from 05:30 to 21:00. A promotional fare of Rp1 per ride is offered until 28 June 2026.
Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi said the station enhances public‑transport connectivity in the Jabodetabek area, linking the stadium with existing stations such as Kampung Bandan and Jakarta Kota. The aim is to reduce private‑vehicle traffic during large events and encourage a shift toward mass transit. Service is being rolled out gradually, with the first trains stopping at the station from 13:00 on the opening day.
