Indonesia public services and motorcycle market updates

Various public services and economic data have been reported across Indonesia. In Jakarta, the odd-even traffic restriction system is active on 25 roads to manage congestion. Additionally, the Polda Metro Jaya is operating mobile driver's license (SIM) renewal services at multiple locations, including Grand Cakung, LTC Glodok, and Lapangan Banteng, specifically for SIM A and SIM C categories.

In South Jakarta, the Immigration Lounge at Pondok Indah Mall (PIM) provides weekend passport services, consistently meeting its daily quota of 50 applicants for same-day processing. Meanwhile, in Bantul, mobile SIM services are scheduled throughout September 2026, including evening sessions to accommodate working citizens.

On the economic front, data from the Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association (AISI) shows that 4.36 million motorcycles were sold in the domestic market during the first eight months of 2026, with July recording the highest monthly sales of 636,030 units.
