Jakarta South hosts Car-Free Day at Jalan Sultan Iskandar Muda

Car-Free Day (HBKB) was held on Jalan Sultan Iskandar Muda in South Jakarta on Sunday, October 25, 2026. The event saw significant participation from residents engaging in various physical activities, including walking and cycling, as well as families gathering to relax.

The relocation of the car-free zone to this area was implemented by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government due to the Jakarta Running Festival taking place elsewhere. During the event, which ran from 05:30 to 09:00 WIB, the road was closed to motorized vehicles from the front of Gandaria City to the Simpang Kostrad intersection, providing an open public space for the community.
