Jakarta to host World Conference on Creative Economy 2026

The World Conference on Creative Economy (WCCE) 2026 is scheduled to take place in Jakarta from October 21 to 23. The event aims to strengthen international collaboration through ministerial meetings, bilateral discussions, and business-to-business matchmaking. Approximately 51 countries and seven international organizations have confirmed their participation.

Under the theme ‘Inclusively Creative: Collective Continuity’, the forum will bring together policymakers, business leaders, creators, and investors. A primary objective of the 2026 conference is the development of the ‘Jakarta Vision on Creative Economy’. This document is intended to serve as a foundation for contributions to United Nations resolutions in 2027, seeking to solidify the role of the creative economy within the global development agenda following the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals period.
