Jakarta's Latumenten Flyover Construction Nears Completion

Governor Pramono Anung inspected the Latumenten flyover project in Grogol, West Jakarta, where construction is 55.2 % complete. The Rp259 billion (≈ US$17 million) elevated road is designed to separate vehicle traffic from a level railway crossing that has caused chronic congestion in the Grogol‑Pluit‑Slipi corridor. The administration targets a December 15 2026 opening, citing expectations that the flyover will cut traffic delays by up to 40 percent.

The project is a priority for the DKI Jakarta provincial government, which aims to alleviate the area's peak‑hour gridlock. The flyover’s progress is on schedule, with accelerated work planned for the remaining five months to meet the deadline.
