Jalen Brunson discusses hosting Saturday Night Live

Saturday Night Live Jalen Brunson New York Knicks musical guests television hosting

New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson recently shared insights regarding his experience hosting Saturday Night Live. Brunson noted that while he felt significant anxiety leading up to the episode, the experience was highly enjoyable. He highlighted the intense preparation required, including long hours at the studio throughout the week, and identified a High School Musical spoof as his favorite sketch.

Historically, Saturday Night Live has seen various musical artists perform 'double duty' as both host and musical guest. Notable examples include Paul Simon, who was the first to achieve this on the show's second episode in 1975, and Kris Kristofferson, who hosted and performed in July 1976.
