Jalen Brunson appears at Emmys and prepares for SNL hosting

New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson made a pre-taped appearance during the opening monologue of the 78th Emmy Awards to support host Mariska Hargitay. The segment featured the two friends steaming their respective outfits—Brunson with his Knicks jersey and Hargitay with her ceremony dress—as a nod to the pressure of high-profile performances.

Following his recent NBA championship victory with the Knicks, Brunson is expanding his media presence. He is scheduled to host the season premiere of ‘Saturday Night Live’ on September 26 with musical guest Katseye. Additionally, Hargitay confirmed that Brunson will make a guest appearance on the long-running crime drama ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’.

Brunson, who was named NBA Finals MVP, has maintained a close friendship with Hargitay, a prominent Knicks fan, throughout the team’s successful championship run.
