Jalen Brunson to host ‘Saturday Night Live’ season 52 premiere

Jalen Brunson, the star point guard for the New York Knicks, is scheduled to host the season 52 premiere of ‘Saturday Night Live’ on September 26. Musical guest Katseye will perform during the episode.

Brunson’s hosting appearance follows his recent leadership in guiding the Knicks to the 2026 NBA championship, where he earned the NBA Finals MVP award. He becomes the first player from the Knicks to host the show and the fifth NBA player to do so, joining previous hosts such as LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, and Bill Russell.
