Jalisco en Tijuana festival debuts on Avenida Revolución

The inaugural “Jalisco en Tijuana” event is currently taking place on Avenida Revolución, showcasing the music, dance, and gastronomy of the state of Jalisco. The festivities include performances by the “De Mi Tierra” Folkloric Ballet from Tequila, Jalisco, as well as Mariachi Fiesta Brava and the Sonajeros Arribeños.

A horse parade, featuring participants from local associations and groups traveling directly from Jalisco, traveled from the vicinity of the Agua Caliente Racetrack to the downtown area. Organizer Romel Peraza Lizárraga stated the three-day event aims to connect the metropolitan population of Tijuana with rural traditions, including ranch culture and music.
