Overview

The inaugural ‘Jalisco en Tijuana’ event is being held on Avenida Revolución to showcase the music, dance, and gastronomy of the state of Jalisco. The festivities feature performances by the ‘De Mi Tierra’ Folkloric Ballet, Mariachi Fiesta Brava, and the Sonajeros Arribeños.

A horse parade involving local associations and groups from Jalisco traveled from the Agua Caliente Racetrack area to the downtown district. Organizer Romel Peraza Lizárraga stated the three-day event is intended to connect Tijuana’s metropolitan population with rural traditions, such as ranch culture and music.
