JAMB sets final Nov 30 deadline for 2021–2025 admission offers

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued a final deadline of November 30, 2026, for candidates to accept or reject outstanding admission offers from the 2021 to 2025 admission cycles.

This extension follows a 96-hour disruption to the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS), which prevented some candidates from accessing their records. The previous deadline had been set for September 30, 2026. JAMB Acting Director of Public Affairs and Protocol, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, stated that the extension is intended to ensure candidates can regularize their status without disadvantage.

Candidates are advised to log into their CAPS profiles to review their status. Those who fail to act by the deadline will have their offers automatically reverted to ‘Not Admitted’ on JAMB records. Any subsequent requests to update these records will incur a penalty fee. Properly documented admissions are critical for candidates to access benefits such as participation in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme.
