James Bond franchise selects new actor for upcoming film and audio drama

Amazon MGM Studios continues developing the next James Bond film, titled "Bond 26," with Denis Villeneuve directing and Steven Knight writing. Casting director Nina Gold has started auditions, with actors Callum Turner, Harris Dickinson and Jacob Elordi frequently mentioned as leading candidates.

Separately, the franchise has officially cast 24‑year‑old Isaac Rouse as the teenage James Bond in the upcoming audio drama "Young Bond: SilverFin," based on Charlie Higson’s novel. The 16‑episode series will debut in October 2026 and follows Bond’s first day at Eton and his early adventure on Loch Silverfin.

Both initiatives signal a broad effort to refresh the 007 brand across film, audio and other media platforms.
