James, Earl of Wessex, to study agriculture at Royal Agricultural University

James, Earl of Wessex, the 18-year-old nephew of King Charles III, will begin studying Rural Land and Property Management at the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester this autumn. Buckingham Palace confirmed that the young royal will proceed directly to his studies following his A-Level examinations without taking a gap year.

Before enrolling, James gained practical experience working as a farmhand on the Sandringham estate. Reports indicate he has been involved in manual labor and tractor operation on the grounds. His uncle, King Charles III, has supported these interests through his own long-standing dedication to ecological causes and by providing opportunities for James to work on the royal estate.
