James, Earl of Wessex, to study at Royal Agricultural University

James, Earl of Wessex, is set to begin studying rural land and property management at the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester this September. The 18-year-old, son of Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh, secured the necessary grades to enroll in the course following his studies at Radley College in Oxfordshire.

The degree program focuses on the fundamentals of rural professional practice, including planning, development, law, valuation, and building construction. It aims to provide students with an understanding of sustainability and business management to advise on farm and estate operations.

Cirencester is described as a relatively quiet town compared to major university hubs, offering a lifestyle centered more around coffee shops and local dining than intense nightlife. While the nearby town of Cheltenham provides more active evening options, Cirencester remains a more subdued location for students.
