James Wehr and Alexis Kramer die in California McLaren crash

Automotive influencer James Wehr, 27, and model Alexis ‘Lexi’ Kramer, 22, died following a high-speed car accident in Irvine, California. The incident occurred on Sunday when their 2019 McLaren collided with a tree and subsequently caught fire.

Reports indicate the vehicle accelerated from a red light before losing control. The Irvine Police Department’s Traffic Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) is currently examining the crash, focusing on road conditions, vehicle status, and speed.

Wehr was a prominent figure in the car enthusiast community and the founder of South OC Cars & Coffee. Kramer, originally from Florida, had traveled to California to meet Wehr after connecting on Instagram. Her family has shared emotional tributes, describing her as a person with a great passion for cars and motorcycles.
