Jammu and Kashmir Police seize ₹138 crore in assets in narco-terror crackdown

Jammu and Kashmir Police have launched a major crackdown against narco-terrorism and cross-border terror funding syndicates. Official data indicates that authorities have attached 288 illegal properties valued at over ₹138 crore.

In addition to property seizures, police have recovered more than ₹80 lakh in cash from smugglers and terror facilitators. The security operations in September were strategically significant, resulting in four major encounters and the elimination of five foreign terrorists. Weapons recovered from these sites included M4 Carbines of American origin, AK-47 assault rifles, automatic sidearms, and modern foreign communication sets.

To combat drug trafficking, the police have registered over 3,257 cases under the NDPS Act, leading to the arrest of approximately 4,000 individuals involved in smuggling or supporting terror networks.
