Jannik Robatsch joins SK Beveren on loan from FC St. Pauli

Austrian defender Jannik Robatsch has joined the Belgian top-flight club SK Beveren on loan from the German side FC St. Pauli. The 21-year-old center-back moves to the Jupiler Pro League to gain more regular first-team playing time.

Robatsch, a 190cm left-footed defender, previously played for Austria Klagenfurt before joining St. Pauli in 2025. During his time in Hamburg, he struggled to secure a spot in the professional squad, primarily appearing for St. Pauli II in the Regionalliga Nord.

SK Beveren's sporting director, Bob Peeters, expressed enthusiasm about the signing, describing Robatsch as a proactive defender who is strong in the air, possesses good mobility, and is comfortable on the ball. The loan is intended to aid the player's development as he competes for a position in the Beveren defense.
