Japan announces seasonal Halloween events and themed menus

Various seasonal Halloween-themed events and products are being launched across Japan.

At the ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Kanazawa, a collaboration with Notojima Aquarium will offer a limited-time Halloween afternoon tea from September 1 to October 31, 2026. The menu features 12 types of sweets modeled after marine life, such as spotted seals and garden eels, alongside savory items like Halloween cheese burgers. A 300 yen donation from each set will support the aquarium's animal care. The set includes 16 types of free-flow drinks and costs 5,800 yen.

Tokyo Disney Resort will host the ‘Disney Halloween’ event from September 16 to October 31, 2026. The celebration includes new merchandise featuring Mickey Mouse and friends in pajamas, as well as items themed after Disney Villains. New food offerings will be available at various park locations, including maple pumpkin churros, themed snack boxes, and specialty beverages like purple sweet potato cafe lattes. The resort is also introducing frozen food items, such as maple pumpkin churros, for home consumption.
