Japan hosts 2026 FORESTRISE exhibition and national forestry job guidance

The Platinum Concept Network will exhibit at FORESTRISE2026, the fifth Next‑Generation Forestry Industry Expo, held September 16‑18, 2026 at Tokyo Big Sight. Member organizations—including Oji Holdings, Shimon, Chūbun Power, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, and Francwood—will share a joint pavilion and present a seminar on "Realising Japan's 'Forestry Circular Economy'" on the final day.

Separately, the National Forestry Union will run a free online guidance event on August 21, 2026, using Zoom to introduce forestry work and employment opportunities. Participants can attend video‑off or anonymously, explore regional sessions from up to three prefectures, and receive follow‑up consulting through a standing online employment service. The program forms part of the Forestry Agency's "Green Employment" initiative aimed at attracting new workers to the sector.
