Japan hosts child‑care community events in Kobe and Kita Ward

The Kobe‑based “Regional Connections Forum 2026” will be held on 3 October. Organized by Co‑op Kobe, the event offers a special lecture on child‑rearing, interactive booths from local groups, and a gymnastics demonstration by former NHK presenter Seiji Fukao. The program includes a morning session (10:30‑11:00) and an afternoon session (13:30‑14:00), with free use of a gymnasium for activities such as a giant trampoline.

In Tokyo’s Kita Ward, the “Kita‑Ward Child‑Care Kindergarten Fest” took place on 28 July at the North Pia venue. Hosted by the private kindergarten association, the free event gathered 22 private kindergartens, offering performances by the “Aozora Wappen” troupe, games, a craft corner, and a consultation desk where parents could obtain enrollment information and ask about curricula and subsidies.
