Japan hosts major food festivals in Kobe and Tokushima in July 2026

Asahi Foods held the "Fudemu 2026" exhibition at the Kobe International Exhibition Hall on July 1–2, featuring 527 exhibitors—including 67 first‑time participants—and attracting about 1,700 visitors. The show emphasized "creating food value" and presented trends such as large‑portion yogurts, high‑calorie comfort foods, and regional specialties like fresh‑fish boxes from Kōchi and functional‑food eggplants. Company executives highlighted a 4.2 % sales increase and rising product prices, noting the need for efficient operations amid intensifying retail competition.

From July 10–12, Gi‑FACTORY organized the 9th "All‑Meat Festival" in Tokushima’s Aibahama Park, gathering roughly 30 vendors and offering over 200 meat‑based menu items, including livestock, fish and fruit‑based protein dishes. The three‑day outdoor event included free sampling, wine tasting, family‑friendly carnival games, and a stage program, positioning the festival as one of western Japan’s largest outdoor gourmet gatherings.
